The Bulova StoryIn 1875, a young Czech immigrant named Joseph Bulova set up shop in New York City, and a legendary American watch brand was born. Bulova was trained as a jeweler, and his skillfulness carried over into his watchmaking career, which begun around 1911 with boudoir clocks and pocket watches, and soon evolved to include what was then one of the latest and most fashionable technical innovations: the wristwatch.

Bulova introduced it is primary line of wristwatches in 1919. The company grew and prospered, and soon early radio and television ads were declaring, “America runs on Bulova time.” In the 1950s, continuing it is bequest of innovation, Bulova introduced Accutron, the firstborn electronic watch, and the original breakthrough in timekeeping engineering in over 300 years. The Accutron timing mechanism was later adapted for use by NASA computers and a Bulova timer was even placed on the moon to control transmissions of data. Bulova timepieces have kept official time aboard Air Force One and have likewise served as official timepieces for U.S. Olympic teams.

Today, Bulova maintains it is tradition of excellency in engineering science and design, supplying a diverse collection of gorgeous precision timepieces for each occasion.

5Beautiful Watch

I shopped around for this watch at galore well-known merchandising stores. I found it on Amazon.com for half the price and perfectly love it! It’s as gorgeous in person as it is on-line. It is a well-made stainless steel watch and it has a actually gorgeous mother of pearl face. At introductory the band was a little hard to unclasp but the more I use it the requiring little effort it is getting to put it on and take off. I would commend this watch to everyone.

Beautiful watch. Big dial, easy to read. I purchased it as a gift for my Mother. Wrist band is very large. We had to remove a few links, which is typical for this type of band. Great watch and a pretty piece of jewelery.

I’d love this watch. It’s beautiful. However, I wish it would be a bit smaller.
