Cleaning Your Skagen Watch Skagen proposes the following solutions for cleaning metal and crystal surfaces: 3:1 solution of ammonia based window cleaner to water 4:1 solution of rubbing alcohol to water. Do not use soap products. These suggested solutions will evaporate cleanly from metal and glass surfaces. Soap will leave residue behind when dry. To clean the case and crystal: Moisten a soft cloth with one of the above solutions. Gently wipe the case and crystal clean. Moisture could seep past the seals over time. To clean the band or strap: Skagen soft mesh bands are without apparent effort adjustable. Simply insert a little screwdriver or similar tool into the clasp. Lift up the clasp without applying pressure to the thin pin all over the clasp and move to desired position. Snap closed securely. Make sure the clasp is set in one of the indentations on the back of the band. Link bands are altogether adaptable anyplace watches are serviced. Skagen proposes the following exercises for cleaning metal, rubber and leather surfaces: Metal watchbands Dip a cotton swab in the above solution, and gently rub it into the soiled percentage of the band. To clean this type of leather, follow the same procedure as with the rubber watchband. Simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth, using water only. You may want to use leather conditioner or a little amount of hand lotion to keep the leather supple over time. Top grain leather may formulate a milky “haze” if left alone for extended periods. This may merely be wiped away or got rid of with leather conditioner. Leather watchstraps: Nubuck This is fundamentally full grain leather with the top layer shaved off, leaving a flat, smooth finish. A product called a “nubuck eraser” may be found at better shoe repair shops. It will aid to remove most light stains and debris from nubuck.

Very nice watch…

Keeps outstanding time…reasonably priced…..sleek and stylish…..goes will with business attire and/or casual attire. I expended a lot of time researching watches in the $100-$300 price category and this by far beat the competition. I was capable to compensate much less on Amazon than I could’ve directly thru retail….discount was 30% or so. I will in all likelihood go for another color/design very soon.

Sleek look, but not genuinely durable

This watch genuinely looks good. It is super slim and well designed. However I am very unsatisfied with the watch durability. I purchased the watch 6 months ago, and the “super hardened crystal” glass is full of scratches – not actually super hardened if anythings scratches it. Also, even though the watch is 3atm water resistant, I had water vapor pile up inside the watch, exclusively obscuring the dial view. I did go to the pool with it but I thought that that’s what water resistance is all about.

Skagen Titanium Watch

This watch is gorgeous!
It is very thin and stlylish and looks better in person than in the picture.
I took it over to the watch section at a big selling store and the clerk said that my watch looked better than all the watches they had in their cases!

It is actually modern and understated.
I would buy another.
