3Simply Beautiful!
By M. T. Nino
I just got my Seiko “5″ today and is plainly beautiful! It weights 80 grams and it’s 37mm in diameter. Just perfect! Seiko “5″ are known to last a lifetime and it’s one of the most affordable, reliable, and lasting automatics out there. Seiko 5′s have the following characteristics: 1.Day, 2.Date, 3.Automatic, 4.Shock Resistance, and 5.Water Resistance. This watch in peculiar is waterproof to 30 meters (100 feet). The luminous on hands and markers is excellent, and surpasses in luminance a great deal of “Seiko 5 Superior” models. The bracelet on this watch is a no no, and is made in China. This is one of the most inexpensive bracelets I have come all over in a while. Also, the motion (cal. 7S26) is made in Malaysia, and it says that in the case-back and the dial. I guess Malaysians want to get some credit. What’s left on the watch, I believe is made in Japan, since Seiko is a Japanese Brand. But don’t quote me on it. If you are looking for a dressy beater, this is the watch to get. One of the reasons I’ve got this watch besides the brand, the movement, looks to kill, is the warranty: One year all over the world, plus 2 more years in USA. Nothing to loose. I will wear this watch for a couple of months and I’ll review it again. In the mean time, I’ll give it a 3-stars rating!

5Great mechanical watch for the price
By Pine Breeze
Just got this, but have had assorted mechanicals and Seikos. So, I’ll report more in the future. For now, what I like with regards to this watch is:

+ It’s a nice size for little wrists (which I have)
+ It’s simple, not gaudy
+ Inexpensive as automatics go
+ Long lasting luminescent markings on hours and hands (not second hand though)
+ Seems precise for a mechanical
+ Three year warranty

Negatives

- Can’t manually wind it
- Band feels weak, cheap
