4Great each and everyday watch
By Sue
This is a good value for the watch. It is a little difficult to set the time/day/date, but once I got it set correctly, it has worked like a charm. It is a little heavy, but feels very comfortable.

5Gorgeous ladies watch!
By J. Zalaker
Given three watches to choose from (2 Invicta & this Seiko), my husband chose this Seiko for my birthday present. It arrived today in the mail and is more pretty in person than online! I utterly love the red second hand and the blue SAT and SUN. A former reviewer wrote that the watch was “so small” but I beg to differ. This is an suitable size watch for a lady. I am an athletic person and I have a New Balance watch that meets those needs. However, for a watch that I may both dress up and dress down, the Seiko 5 meets my needs. The second hand moves so with no problems or difficulties and the weight of the watch is perfect. It took me when it comes to 10 minutes to set the watch accurately- not a very tedious process. I’ll be taking it to our jeweler this week to have a few of the links got rid of to fit my wrist. This is by far an splendid watch at a superb price. Thank you Seiko, thank you Amazon and most of all, thank you sweetie! Happy Birthday to me!

UPDATE: I had my watch sized today and the jeweler told me for this type of watch (self-winding/mechanical), if it sits for a day or two I will have to turn the crown, 30-40 times before wearing. This ensures the watch will not lose minutes, as a former reviewer noted. I just wanted to portion this data with anybody giving careful consideration to buying a self winding watch or this peculiar watch.
