Can you only find one charger when all of you need to recharge? Call a cease-fire with PowerDock, a charging base where each iPod and iPhone in the house may get together to charge their batteries. Just slip your iPod or iPhone into place to safely charge. Two Apple Universal Docks are built into a single charging base, permitting you to charge any two iPod models at once. Substantial brushed aluminum with a grippable rubber base stays put on countertops and desktops. The PowerDock station includes a collection of Universal Dock insert adapters to ascertain that each iPod and iPhone in the house gets a place at the table.

Sleek, Stylish and Functional. Great for the iPhone.

My wife and I each have an iPhone and wanted a nice way to charge them both without cords all over our living room. I purchased the PowerDock from Amazon, and am very pleased with it. It’s small, sleek and looks outstanding in the living room, all while reducing our clutter.

The only downside is that it only ships with a single adapter piece for each type of apple device. So with 2 iphones only one of them has the proper adapter in the box. Mind you this does not mean that you can not charge both, as the adapter for say the video iPod or the adapter for the iPod Touch will work. The problem is that they each sit at their own angle and it looks kinda weird. The upside nonetheless is that I called Griffin and they are shipping me a free iPhone adapter piece and were actually easy and nice to deal with.

If you are thinking with regards to buying one, I highly commend it.

Very nicely done. Looks good, well built an designed. However Griffin has not sold off their existent stock of older units without an iPhone 3G adapater in the box. The unit I received from Amazon is just that – an older box sans 3G adapter. I conservatively place the iPhone in the dock and it works well with no adapter at all, but that is a bad idea I’m sure. I may buy an adapter for a reasonable $1.99 from Griffin. What isn’t reasonable is the shipping charge of $5! So I may get the piece of plastic that will have to have been in the box for around $7 – super. Definitely makes this dock less of a bargain.

I’d be totally satisfied if Griffin had offered a check box on the Amazon order page to include a 3G adapter with the dock. I would have given it 5 stars.

If you have a 3G iPhone wait until you see that the Amazon order page says “iPhone 3G compatible” before you order. Save your self a lot of dollars.

Works on iPhone 4 as well

My neighbor has this so I was competent to test my iPhone 4 in it before I purchased it. With the iPhone 4 you may charge with or without an adapter insert. The #9 adapter insert that comes with it fits the iPhone 4. 2 of the #9 inserts are included. Again, an adapter (which is included) is not required. Just plug in your phone.
Love this product. It looks so much sharper than cords lying everywhere.
